Sentinel Federal Credit Union is hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our Lending team. This role works closely with Commercial and Agricultural Loan Officers to evaluate new and existing credit relationships, assess risk, and provide recommendations that support sound lending decisions.

Pay Range
- $23.10 - $26.00/ hour DOE

What You’ll Do
Analyze commercial and agricultural loan requests and prepare detailed credit presentations and recommendations
Gather, consolidate, and evaluate financial information to assess borrower creditworthiness and identify potential risks
Prepare written credit memorandums, analyses, and recommendations for new and existing credit relationships
Monitor loan covenant compliance, financial reporting requirements, and borrowing base certificates to ensure timely follow-up
Collaborate with Commercial and Agricultural Loan Officers to discuss credit opportunities, verify information, and develop lending solutions
Participate in loan structuring discussions, risk reviews, audits, examinations, and stress testing activities
Assist with loan closing activities and support the overall commercial lending process
Maintain compliance with lending policies, regulations, and underwriting requirements while protecting confidential information
Who You Are
At least 18 years old
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Minimum of one year of direct experience required
Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred
Experience in a financial institution or credit union environment preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Comfortable interpreting financial statements, identifying trends, and assessing risk
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately
