Make an Impact with Your Electrical Expertise:

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems - switchgear, transformers, lighting, and more.
  • Troubleshoot issues using tools like multimeters and testers. 
  • Install and wire outlets, lighting, and emergency power systems.
  • Support building automation systems (BAS), PLCs, and HVAC controls.
  • Read and follow electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Follow all safety protocols and keep detailed maintenance records.

Keep Our Facilities Running Smoothly:

  • Handle general maintenance - plumbing fixes, HVAC filter changes, and equipment upkeep.
  • Respond to repair requests and help with custodial tasks like floor care and sanitation.
  • Operate custodial tools like vacuums, buffers, and scrubbers.
  • Support events by setting up spaces and moving furniture.
  • Keep supplies stocked and organized.

Care for Our Grounds and Community Spaces:

  • Use lawn movers, trimmers, and snow removal tools to maintain outdoor areas.
  • Ensure walkways and parking lots are safe and well-lit.

Champion Safety Every Day:

  • Conduct regular inspections to spot hazards and maintenance needs.
  • Follow safety guidelines and participate in training and drills.
  • Keep clear records of your work and compliance. 

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance in commercial or institutional facilities.

  • Proficient in electrical systems up to 480V, including three-phase power, and familiarity with PLCs and BAS preferred.

  • Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

  • Experience in general building maintenance, custodial duties, and groundskeeping.

  • Certification as Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred.

  • Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and general safety practices.

  • Ability to safely operate groundskeeping equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask.

  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.

  • Flexible schedule including availability for emergency calls, nights, and weekends.

 

  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Exposure to dust, chemicals, noise, and energized electrical equipment.

  • May require climbing, working at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks.
