In this role, you'll clean and sanitize floors, walls, furniture, and shared spaces in offices and other state buildings. You'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness that support public health and help state operations run smoothly.

Working hours may vary depending on the project load and assignment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in custodial or institutional cleaning is a plus-but we'll train the right person!
Knowledge of:
- institutional cleaning techniques;
- cleaning equipment and machinery;
- cleaning chemicals and their uses.
Skill to:
Ability to:
- read and write;
- follow instructions;
- be on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift;
- lift up to 50 pounds.
This position is eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
