WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Custodian at ESI, you’ll perform essential cleaning and upkeep duties to ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for associates, visitors, and customers.
WAGE: $18.00/hour
Key responsibilities include:
- Clean and maintain interior spaces including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls, and entryways
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and power scrub floors as needed
- Restock paper products and fill soap dispensers
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Wash smocks and manage laundry-related tasks
- Dust furniture, fixtures, countertops, tabletops, chairs, and common surfaces
- Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
- Perform additional custodial duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and take pride in maintaining a clean, orderly environment
- Knowledge of cleaning products and when and where to use them appropriately
- Understanding of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a consistent work ethic
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the workday
- Ability to lift approximately 15–25 lbs on occasion
- Frequent movement throughout offices, production areas, restrooms, and common spaces
- Indoor manufacturing and office environment
- Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, following all safety procedures
