Job Description

Summary/Objective: This position is the customer point of contact and presents a positive face of AE and TFC while representing /communicating with customer. Enters and maintains customer requirements from EDI and other forms into M1 and Forecast module. Address/resolve issues or inquiries while keeping customer informed of order status.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Extract or collect purchase order/contract from customer portal or email.
  • Confirm delivery requested is consistent with lead times quoted and current capacity, pricing is correct, insures compliance with flow down requirements and identifies new requirements that need to be addressed.
  • Convert purchase order/contract request into an internal production lot reflective of the requirements requested in purchase order.
  • Reviews/analyzes customer forecast/demand to aid in managing capacity and scheduling a successful plan to achieve customer requirements.
  • Monitors production and schedules shipments / routing according to customer demands, customer location, and business situation, aligning/directing shipment departures.
  • Prepares documentation for export shipments assuring compliance with US Export laws.
  • Coordinate new product introductions with the new part team
  • Enters / Maintains Part and Customer Information: Accurately and timely enters and maintains part, routing, and customer information in M1 or Epicor.
  • Revises production schedules as required due to order changes, labor/material shortages, capacity constraints, unexpected situations, and collaborates with plant management personnel to develop a contingency plan.
  • Applies the cost vs. benefit concept when making decisions on how resources are being allocated and / or consumed.
  • Support other Duties as assigned.

Skills and Specifications:

  • Four year degree and/or relevant work experience in a manufacturing sales environment.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills, and problem solving/analysis abilities
  • The ability to teach and train others in a coach or mentor role as needed
  • Must possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Internet Portals

Post-offer drug screen and background checks are required
