Job Description
The cylinder fill position is responsible for safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical, and high-pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting Matheson's standard operating procedures. This position will also assist with warehouse duties including shipping, receiving and other tasks as needed. Starting pay up to $24/HR depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Fills gas cylinders, high and low pressure, and liquid containers in accordance with safety and quality procedures.
- Movement of cylinders as required in the plant.
- May be required to load and unload trucks with a forklift.
- Completes all documentation and forms in compliance with company and FDA requirements during the fill process.
- Receives products in from vendors and fills customer orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Must be able to push/cart 200 + lbs cylinders and lift 50 + lbs.
- Willing to train the right individual.
