Job Summary: As a Delivery Manager, you will oversee the delivery operations to ensure timely and accurate distribution of products to customers. Additionally, your primary goal is to ensure all deliveries meet quality and safety standards, as well as maintain a well-organized and efficient warehouse. Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery Management:
  • Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules, optimizing routes and resources.
  • Assign delivery tasks to drivers and ensure they have all necessary documentation and equipment.
  • Monitor delivery progress and address any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Ensure that all deliveries comply with legal and safety regulations.
  • Track delivery performance metrics and make improvements as necessary.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and address any inquiries or concerns.
  1. Warehouse Management:
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including warehouse workers, forklift operators, and order pickers.
  • Plan and organize warehouse space for optimal storage and workflow.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines in the warehouse.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and tools, arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
  1. Inventory Control:
  • Implement inventory control processes to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Regularly update inventory records and systems to reflect accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to manage reorder points and stock replenishment.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to delivery and warehouse staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Handle personnel matters, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  1. Reporting:
  • Provide regular updates to management on operational activities and challenges.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance warehouse and delivery processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Forklift certification.

Compensation: base salary starting at $50,000 annually
