Job Description
General Statement of Duties:
Performs duties assigned by the Auditor
Services the public at the counter
Prepares vouchers
Prepares payroll and other authorized payments
Prepares periodic reports
Registers voters
Manages employee personnel files
Manages fringe benefits for employees
Updates hiring/firing procedures
Updates employee handbook policies as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assumes the responsibility for the operation of the office in the Auditor’s absence
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Must be able to type and perform mathematical calculations in an efficient manner
Must be able to operate office equipment (including a computer)
Other Qualifications:
Must be able to meet and deal with the public in a friendly, helpful manner.
Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug test
