Job Description

Bender Companies is seeking a digital marketing & content manager with a positive, creative mindset and strong work ethic. As a digital marketing & content manager, you will be the voice, tone, and moderator of the brand through community support, content creation, and distribution to build brand presence and trust, both online and paper copy. Our digital marketing & content manager should have the ability to turn concepts into compelling content.  

Scope of work will include but not be limited to creating, designing, and managing social media strategies, general website maintenance, organic SEO optimization, paid marketing strategies, and general upkeep of the company’s digital and community presence. Content creation and design focuses on increasing customer engagement; supporting revenue generation efforts; sharing company and client stories externally; and enhancing the overall Bender brand.

This is not a standard role, we need a super smart, hands-on, team member to support both our companies, Bender Midwest Properties and Bender Commercial Real Estate. Extra points if you can make us laugh and have an unrelenting urge to organize. This is a “roll up your sleeves,” get involved, and create massive value type of role.

Job Requirements

• Relish in the ability to utilize your creativity to visualize and create effective content ideas/strategies.
• Your strong graphic design skills are on point.
• Are comfortable with design software such as Adobe and Canva.
• You’ve been successful in managing social media and advertising programs.
• Hold the knowledge to utilize social media metrics tools and analytics.
• Find an interest in digital trends and technologies.
• Benefit from strong project management skills.
• Your proofreading skills are meticulous.
• Are comfortable working independently and collaboratively as required; versatility is a must.
• Have a sense of humor and the ability to embrace and build on feedback.
• Oh, and you like your Friday afternoons off in the summer!
