Job Description
Responsible for executing and optimizing the company's digital presence across all owned, earned, and paid channels — with a sharp focus on the unique buying cycles, relationship dynamics, and audience complexity of JDS’ customers. This role translates business objectives into integrated digital strategies that raise brand awareness, drive qualified leads, and strengthen customer relationships.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an annual digital marketing strategy aligned to company revenue goals, seasonal inventory cycles, and sales team priorities.
- Define and maintain buyer personas across key customer segments (awards, gifts & drinkware, sign, etc.) and map digital content to each stage of the B2B buyer journey.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify positioning opportunities, channel gaps, and emerging trends.
- Oversee paid digital advertising with accountability for budget management and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Plan, produce, and publish email marketing campaigns targeting existing accounts, prospects, and lapsed customers, promotional announcements, company news, and product launch communications.
- Plan, produce, and publish landing pages as needed via a content management system.
- Monitor and improve organic search engine optimization (SEO) of JDS websites.
- Monitor and provide recommendations to improve content organization, user experience, and code-level SEO.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and build reports to track performance across all digital channels, with a focus on metrics that tie directly to the new account pipeline and sales revenue.
- Assist, as needed, in the planning, production and publishing of owned content across digital channels including the company website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and industry platforms.
- Work closely with other teams to identify content gaps and/or friction points in the digital customer experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Deep understanding of how businesses buy, and the role of trust and relationship equity in vendor selection. Ability to craft messaging that resonates with real buyers.
- Ability to connect activity to broader business outcomes. Comfortable building plans with limited resources and making trade-off recommendations based on data and business context.
- Proficient in Google Analytics and Tag Manager, CRM reporting, email analytics, and ad platform dashboards. Able to draw meaningful conclusions that drive action from data.
- Working knowledge of SEO, paid search, digital advertising, email marketing automation, and content marketing. Experience with marketing automation platforms preferred.
- Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly when business priorities shift.
- Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Must be able to use computer keyboard and company software programs.
- Manual dexterity to operate computer.
- Visual acuity (with correction) sufficient to make artistic judgments about layout and design.
- Ability to use Business Computer Programs (ie. Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
- Monday through Friday. Additional and varied hours as needed
Job Requirements
o Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited college or university required with major coursework in marketing, strategic communications, digital marketing, or related field, preferred.
o A minimum of 2 years marketing experience or equivalent experience required.
