This is a Full-Time 40 Hours Weekly position with the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications - South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB). For more information on SDPB, please visit https://www.sdpb.org/ .

The Digital Support Specialist is responsible for effective daily operations of SDPBs Open Government services across a variety of platforms including but not limited to the SDPB website, YouTube, social media, and other digital media outlets. Under the direction of SDPB's Digital Strategy Manager, the Digital Support Specialist will ensure that SDPB Open Government meetings, livestreams, and archives are processed and maintained according to internal standards and state regulations. This position will also be expected to collect and coordinate digital analytic data to be used in reporting, regularly deliver finalized materials to state agencies and archives, and assist the Digital Department in local content support as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A versatile understanding of digital media platforms and processing, and demonstrated experience and aptitude in scheduling, record keeping, data collection, and similar administrative support functions. Must be organized, detailed, and demonstrate excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Bachelor's Degree or 3 years' experience in related field is preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and an understanding of mainstream social media is also beneficial.
