Looking for a great way to help others and earn a little extra cash? Join our Dining Assistant Program and assist residents with eating and drinking during meal times. Dining assistants are intended to supplement CNA's and nursing staff. Dining assistants are not substitutes for CNA's or nursing staff.
The SD Human Services Center Geriatrics Team is providing more resident-focused ways of caring for our residents. This dining program provides the necessary training which consists of 8 hours of classroom and two hours of clinical experience. The classroom training and clinical skills are both done at HSC by a trained Registered Nurse.
This program provides flexible hours. You can work as many as 6 hours a day or as few as 2 hours a day.
Optional Work Schedules:
- Breakfast: 7 a.m.- 9 a.m.
- Dinner: 11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Supper: 4:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
