Ave Maria Pastorate in Watertown, SD has an opening for a full time Director of Discipleship and Evangelization. The goal of this position is to foster conversion and growth in discipleship among the faithful within our seven parishes, develop a welcoming and vibrant community, equip parishioners to evangelize by witness, word, and action, and enhance communication within and beyond Ave Maria Pastorate.
Areas the successful applicant will be working with are Faith Formation, OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults), new member welcome, sacrament preparation, and prayer ministry.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as prior supervisory experience. A degree in Theology, or another related field, is preferred, as well as two years of experience working in ministry.
