Moving allowance provided to those who qualify due to re-location.

Job Summary

The Finance Director is responsible for the strategic execution of all financial reporting, general accounting, statutory reporting, financial audits, tax compliance and FSA/HSA Administration services of the Avera Insurance Division (AID). The position directs and leads the development of financial plans/budgets, forecasts and performance against these plans across AID. The position directs, reviews and supports financial analysis to support strategic decision making including ad hoc analysis up to business plan development. The Director is responsible for supporting the execution of the AID’s financial plan and operational strategy under the direction of the AID CFO. The position is also responsible for leading and developing the Finance team as well as execution of the finance strategy.

Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required with a working knowledge of Finance and Accounting systems.
At least five years of extensive experience in related field and managerial experience required.

Certification/Licensure:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate required.
This position requires a valid driver’s license and the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
