Status: 80 hours EXEMPT per two week pay period

Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Statement of Purpose:

HRMC is seeking a self-motivated, resourceful and forward-thinking leader to join our leadership team. Responsibilities include managing, planning and coordinating the operations of the HRMC Physicians Clinic to include: supervising all clinic staff, coding, billing and collecting procedures, monitoring delivery of patient services, planning for space allocation, acting as liaison with patients, businesses, and administration. Utilizes knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems to define the mission, goals, budget and performance standards for the clinic. Demonstrates ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, patients, public and external agencies and take initiative to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or health related field. Five years of job related experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding procedures and experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance billing procedures.
  • Knowledge of information system technology, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases, used when preparing reports and business correspondence .
  • A high degree of social sensitivity and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, staff, physicians and health care personnel within and outside the clinic. Demonstrates leadership abilities; possesses good oral and written communication skills .

Working Conditions:

  • Work is indoors in clean, well lighted, climate controlled environment with minimal hazards under normal conditions.
  • Work requires finger/hand dexterity and eye/hand coordination along with accurate typing skills.
  • Work involves sitting, reading and writing along with standing, stooping, bending, and walking. Work may require some light lifting (exerting/lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently or a negligible amount constantly).
