Director of Program Development, Occupational Therapy and Training

At Call to Freedom, survivors of human trafficking find safety, healing, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader to design and lead innovative, trauma-informed programs that empower survivors to move toward independence and long-term stability.
This role combines program leadership, occupational therapy expertise, and training development to strengthen services that change lives every day.

What You'll Do
Program Leadership
- Lead development and improvement of survivor programs including residential, outreach, and aftercare services
- Ensure services are trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive
- Establish program goals, outcomes, and evaluation measures
Occupational Therapy Integration
- Integrate occupational therapy frameworks into survivor programming
- Provide clinical guidance and oversight related to occupational therapy services
- Support survivors in developing life skills, emotional regulation, and vocational readiness
- Oversee occupational therapy assessments and care plans in collaboration with case managers
Training & Organizational Development
- Develop and deliver training on human trafficking, trauma-informed care, and program implementation
- Support staff development to ensure high-quality services
Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise assigned staff
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning and program growth
- Represent the organization in community and professional settings when appropriate
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Active occupational therapy license (or eligibility) in South Dakota
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership or program development experience
- Experience in trauma-informed or survivor-centered programs preferred

Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week with flexibility based on program needs
