Some of the daily tasks that the dishwasher will encounter include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collect dirty dishes from all areas
- Utilize the three-sink process for all pans and non-dishwasher safe items
- Load dirty dishes and pans in the electric dishwasher, running dishes through the wash and rinse cycle
- Unload the clean dishes and places them in their assigned locations
- Clean the work area after each meal and completes daily and weekly cleaning assignments
- Prepares food requests for student activities
- Assists with dishing condiments/snack items
- Cleans all food preparation equipment according to use and cleaning procedures
