Asphalt Surfacing Company is seeking motivated CDL Drivers and Heavy Equipment Haulers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors, value teamwork, and are committed to safety and quality.
Team members in this role will transport asphalt materials and may also haul heavy equipment to and from job sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to assist the crew when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks in support of asphalt surfacing operations
- Haul asphalt materials using trucks, including end dump trailers (experience preferred)
- Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites using equipment trailers
- Safely load, secure, and unload heavy equipment for transport
- Assist with loading trucks and equipment when needed
- Operate power tools, brooms, and compaction equipment on occasion to assist the crew
- Perform routine vehicle and trailer inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred; Class B considered depending on position
- Experience hauling heavy equipment or operating end dump trucks preferred
- Ability to safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment
- Commitment to operating trucks and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Pre-employment drug screening and physical required
