Job Description
We are a small, hands-on dry ice manufacturing business looking for a Dry Ice Production Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, values safety, and doesn’t mind physical, cold-environment work. No dry ice experience is required—we are happy to train the right person.
As part of a small operation, you’ll play an important role in daily production and will work closely with ownership and other team members.
Responsibilities
Operate dry ice production equipment (pelletizers, presses, or cutters)
Produce dry ice pellets and/or blocks according to daily orders
Package, weigh, label, and prepare dry ice for delivery or pickup
Follow all safety procedures when handling dry ice and CO2
Perform basic equipment checks, cleaning, and light maintenance
Keep work areas clean and organized
Assist with loading/unloading products when needed
Communicate equipment or production issues promptly
Work Environment
Cold, industrial workspace
Hands-on, physical work
Standing for extended periods
Lifting up to 40–50 lbs
Use of PPE (gloves, face shield, insulated gear)
Qualifications
Required:
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable with physical labor and cold environments
Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
Basic math skills (weighing and measuring)
Preferred (but not required):
Manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experience
Mechanical aptitude
Forklift experience
Experience working in a small business or team-oriented environment
