Job Description
The County of Edmunds is seeking a responsible individual for the full-time position of Highway Blade Operator/ Truck driver. This individual will report to the Edmunds County Highway Superintendent and work out of assigned area. Individuals will be responsible for and able to maintain roads, and other county property by the operation of maintainers, tandem trucks, material spreader, front-end loaders, sweepers, rollers, packers and oil distributors for road maintenance and repair. Trucks will be hauling materials such as gravel and hot mix. Candidate must have possession of or ability to obtain SD commercial driver’s license (CDL), with special endorsements as required for jobs. Edmunds county is offering CDL reimbursement options. Salary is $24.16-$24.66 per hour and includes benefit package. Employment is conditional upon a drug/alcohol test.
