Edmunds County invites applications for the role of Highway Superintendent. This key leadership position is responsible for establishing and implementing a comprehensive and effective strategic vision for the Edmunds County Highway Department. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who is eager to make a lasting impact on the development and success of Edmunds County's transportation system. The ideal candidate will provide forward-thinking leadership to ensure the department's goals align with the long-term transportation needs and priorities of our community, fostering a safe, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure for Edmunds County. Our talented team of 12 dedicated professionals in the administrative, and maintenance divisions operate within an annual budget of approximately $5.5 million to consistently deliver high-quality results.
The Highway Department enjoys a GREAT schedule working full-time from Monday to Thursday, allowing for a three-day weekend all year long! The Highway Superintendent is an appointed position reporting to the Edmunds County Commissioners.
