POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the EHS Manager is to implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The EHS Manager will also assist EHS Coordinators conduct and manage various programs and activities in the EHS Department.
Environmental, Health & Safety Manager’s Job Responsibilities:
Manage and lead all members of the EHS department.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and corporate safety & environmental policies and regulations.
Environmental, Health & Safety Manager’s Qualifications / Skills:
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
Two-year degree in Business, Engineering or EHS related field preferred, however, may considered multiple years of engaged work history.
OSHA 30 Occupational Health & Safety certification preferred.
Prefer safety work related experience within an industrial work environment specific to manufacturing or construction as well as multi-site locations.
Must have workers compensation claims management or administration experience.
Must have excellent public speaking, PC and technology understanding.
Must have experience tracking EHS/safety matrix, including OSHA 300log.
Must have reasonable small group training and presentation capability.
Must be good with multitasking, time management and have a great sense for establishing priorities.
