REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION LEVEL:

Two years of post high school education or higher, or be able to pass a standardized test approved by the state of South Dakota, for designated Education Assistant positions.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

Three to twelve months

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant hand-eye and mind-eye coordination, hearing; frequent filing, scheduling, sitting and sorting are required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

1. Tutors students on academic work.
2. Monitors attendance.
3. Corrects student work and assignments.
4. Administers pre-test, post-test and collects data.
5. Works in the library/learning center.
6. May be requested by administration to transport students using personal vehicle.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

PAY INFORMATION

Level G, starting at $18.12 per hour + $1,000 sign-on bonus!

Pay Day: Last working day of each month.

HOURS & FTE

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch

0.875 FTE, 35 hours per week, 9 months
