Job Overview

The Entities and ROBS Manager is responsible for supervising the compliance and regulatory activities related to Individual Retirement Account (IRAs) and ROBS (Roller Business Startup) process. This position involves managing a team of specialists, overseeing compliance processes, and ensuring that all IRA-related activities comply with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise, lead, and manage a team of specialists (on-site and remote), providing direction, support, and performance feedback. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client instructions and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor the quality of work performed by the team to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure high-quality service.

  • Oversee the formation, maintenance, and recordkeeping of business entities tied self-directed IRAs and ROBS clients.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

  • Identify areas of improvement in entities and compliance processes and procedures. Collaborate with management to implement enhancements and ensure efficient operations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex cases, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert advice.

  • Ensure that compliance documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible for audits and regulatory review.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices.

  • Maintain organized records for audit purposes and regulatory reviews.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless experience for clients and support overall business objectives.

  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in IRA administration, IRA compliance, and other relevant compliance standards.

  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity is highly preferred, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality client service and resolve complex issues in a professional matter.

  • Proficient in using financial software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
