SCHEDULE

This unique schedule provides daily overlap with both production shifts, giving you the opportunity to support equipment readiness where it matters most.

Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Every Saturday and Sunday off.

PAY: This is an hourly position. We are looking for the right person, not the cheapest person. Compensation is based on your experience, skills, and mechanical aptitude.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Equipment Support Technician, you'll help ensure ESI's production equipment is maintained, inspected, and ready to support manufacturing every day. Your work helps prevent downtime, improves equipment reliability, supports production efficiency, and ensures our customers receive their products Done Right, On Time. Working independently throughout our climate-controlled manufacturing facility, you'll perform preventative maintenance, detailed equipment cleaning, inspections, and operational support that help keep production moving.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventative maintenance on production equipment and related accessories
  • Maintaining SMT equipment, conveyors, reflow ovens, wave solder equipment, ventilation systems, tooling, and production computers
  • Vacuuming loose electronic components and debris from equipment
  • Assisting with feeder repairs, calibrations, and equipment setup
  • Maintaining ultrasonic cleaning systems and batch wash equipment
  • Replacing filters, cleaning tanks, and maintaining equipment support systems
  • Identifying potential equipment issues before they impact production
  • Supporting preventative maintenance tracking and documentation
  • Operating floor maintenance equipment to maintain a safe manufacturing environment
  • Working closely with Production and Engineering to help maximize equipment readiness and uptime
  • Performing other production support duties as assigned

  • Experience in any of the following: manufacturing equipment maintenance, automotive, agriculture, mechanical repair, industrial cleaning, machine operation, or other hands-on technical work, required.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and walking
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Work around active manufacturing equipment
  • Climate-controlled manufacturing facility
  • Required use of PPE in accordance with ESI Safety Policy and OSHA requirements
