Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: 
EPICOR specialist ensures optimal performance for EPICOR systems. They work as a liaison with all departments to determine EPICOR needs, design or facilitate customized EPICOR solutions, and integrate EPICOR technologies with existing systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Serve as the subject matter expert on EPICOR systems and processes.
•    Write and maintain documents related to systems design/customizations, implementation, and best practices.
•    Monitor system performance and identify improvements in business operation workflow as well as regular maintenance.
•    Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from key stakeholders, and assist in developing project plans and timelines to achieve successful implementation
•    Guide internal and external resources through EPICOR implementation phases, evaluation, testing and optimization
•    Configure, test, and implement EPICOR system changes
•    Troubleshoots EPICOR-related issues.
•    Provide EPICOR support and training to EPICOR end-users on an ongoing basis.
•    Actively monitor, troubleshoot, and correct user experience and performance related issues.
•    Analyze applications to find cause of error(s); document and revise programs to correct error(s); find and correct base issues.
•    Create or acquire test data and run tests to determine the accuracy of program logic to produce desired results; debug and revise programs based on test results.
•    Work collaboratively with the IT team, Level 2 support team, EPICOR support team for any EPICOR issues/ inquiries
•    Escalates issues to next level support,   to ensure issues that cannot be addressed at first level are responded to timely, working to maximum uptime for customers. 
•    Understand the EPICOR system, is able to provide the training to key users.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•    Be familiar with EPICOR.
•    training/education. 
•    At least 3 years ERP relevant project or operation experience in supply chain, production, warehouse management, HR, or Finance. (At least 3 modules) 
•    Experience operating large scale software. 
•    Well developed multi-tasking capabilities and experience under pressure. 
•    The ability to both express and understand technical problems to stakeholders. 
•    Deep dive root cause analysis skills. 
•    SQL and reporting skills. 
•    Basic infra skills like network, Server, DB…
•    Able to communicate in English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent along with three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
