About Us:
Ironwood Steakhouse is a high-end dining destination in Sioux Falls, known for exceptional food, warm hospitality, and unforgettable experiences. We’re currently seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team and help elevate private dining and special events at our venue.
Position Overview:
As the Event Coordinator, you'll be the primary point of contact for all private and special event bookings. From initial inquiry to event execution, you’ll manage communication, logistics, and ensure each guest has a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries and manage event bookings (private dinners, corporate events, celebrations, etc.)
Meet with clients to understand their vision and event needs
Coordinate details with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams
Maintain event calendar and ensure proper scheduling/staffing
Create event timelines and floor plans as needed
Ensure smooth execution and troubleshoot issues day-of
Follow up with clients post-event for feedback and relationship-building
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in event planning, hospitality, or restaurant management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and calm under pressure
Familiarity with POS systems and booking platforms is a plus
Availability on weekends and evenings as required by events
A passion for delivering elevated guest experiences
