GENERAL SUMMARY:
Administration of company-wide policies, procedures, and practices to maintain a sound organization. Provides employees, community, and Board of Directors with support and works with all entities to promote the Agency at the city, county, and state levels.
Salary: $83,200-$117,062.40
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Information Accessing: Observe, receive, and obtain information from the Division of Mental Health, community partners, and other pertinent organizations for program planning and development.
2. Communication: Provide information to SPBHS Board of Directors, CFO, co-workers and staff.
3. Resources: Monitor and oversee resources and the spending of money.
4. Development of Objectives and Strategies: Identify strengths of staff members at SPBHS and utilize these strengths to maximize the potential of delivery of services.
5. Decision Making and Problem Solving: Analyze and evaluate information to produce the best result and resolve problems.
6. Team Development and Building: Identify individual staff strengths and utilize these characteristics to build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
7. Organize, Plan, and Prioritize: Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish these outcomes.
8. Performance of Administrative Activities: Perform the day-to-day administrative tasks required to administrate the business of SPBHS.
9. Consultation: Provide guidance to staff in the performance of their duties at SPBHS.
10. Public Relations: Collaborate, network, and partner with other organizations in the four-county catchment area to strengthen our relationships and encourage them to work with SPBHS.
11. Grant Development: Research and identify grant opportunities, develop and submit grant applications, and assist with managing grant-funded programs, reporting requirements, deadlines, and compliance.

2. Management of Financial Resources: Work closely with the CFO to determine how money will be spent to get the work done. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities for SPBHS.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or a Human Services field such as Social Work or a Licensed Counselor with knowledge of mental health services, administrative skills, and at the time of employment, knowledge of the administrative rules pertaining to community mental health services and programs.
