Job Summary: A Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete in a variety of construction projects, including slabs, sidewalks, foundations, curbs, driveways, and other structural elements. The finisher ensures the final surface is smooth, properly textured, and meets specified tolerances and aesthetic standards. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and knowledge of concrete behavior.
Hours: A typical workweek is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines; May require weekend or evening work at times.
Compensation: Starting at $28.00 per hour

Key Accountabilities:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of concrete finishing experience on commercial or industrial projects.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skilled in using hand and power tools associated with concrete finishing (e.g., trowels, floats, edgers, jointers, power screeds).
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and layout instructions.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or direct sunlight.
Reliable transportation to job sites and flexibility to travel to different locations if needed.
