Construction Worker Responsibilities:

  • Preparing construction sites, materials, and digging holes,
  • Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Supporting crew with heavy equipment operating.
  • Following all health and safety regulations.
  • Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete.
  • Reading blueprints, site plans, utility layouts, and grade stakes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, production, and safety

Job requirements

  • Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and forming for and pouring concrete.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, utility plans, and grading plans
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Great communication skills
  • CDL is helpful but not required
  • Commitment to safety, production excavation, underground utility quality, and teamwork
