Experienced Drywall Hanger/Finisher Job Description

RJS Construction, is seeking an experienced drywall hanger/finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully hanging and finishing drywall in both residential and commercial settings. This position requires a high level of skill and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Hang drywall sheets on walls and ceilings
• Tape and texture joints in drywall for a seamless finish
• Repair damaged drywall as needed
• Work from blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installation
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a drywall hanger/finisher
• Demonstrated proficiency in hanging and finishing drywall
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA certification is a plus
