Job DescriptionFacilities Cleaner (Fulltime)

Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • Safely work in office, shop, and jobsite environments while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following all company safety protocols.

  • Wear proper PPE and follow all safety procedures including safe chemical handling and proper use of cleaning equipment.

  • Travel between Cosand properties as scheduled and manage time effectively to complete all assigned cleaning tasks.

  • Clean and sanitize surfaces including floors, furniture, fixtures, and high-touch areas using appropriate cleaning methods.

  • Dust, polish, vacuum, sweep, and mop all assigned areas with strong attention to detail, including corners and hard-to-reach spaces.

  • Clean and maintain restrooms by disinfecting fixtures, restocking supplies, and ensuring a sanitary and presentable environment.

  • Remove trash and dispose of waste and recyclables properly while maintaining clean disposal areas.

  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and maintain organized storage of all materials and equipment.

  • Support light jobsite cleaning tasks while following additional safety requirements and avoiding disruption to active work.

  • Perform event cleanup by preparing spaces, maintaining cleanliness during use, and restoring areas afterward. (This will include occasional nights and weekends with notice in advance.)

  • Maintain cleaning equipment through proper use, cleaning, and storage, and report malfunctions when necessary.

  • Secure buildings when required, including locking doors and ensuring spaces are properly shut down.

  • Work independently, manage workload efficiently, and consistently meet cleaning schedules and expectations.

  • Maintain professionalism at all times and represent Cosand Construction positively across all properties.

Training:

  • All Cosand employees will be trained to their level of employment and safety requirements; this will include on the job training as well as classroom training when it applies. Cosand Construction will provide all safety equipment and PPE that is needed for the task at hand.

Compensation & Benefits:

    • Base: $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.
