Job Description
We are actively recruiting a full-time Facility Engineer who will play a vital role in the meticulous upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment across all facilities. This role oversees holistic maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment, including noncritical medical and kitchen equipment. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on plumbing, lighting, electrical systems, air handlers, boilers, and DNI Water Tanks. Manages furniture installation, painting, wall repairs, and flooring replacements. Handles grounds maintenance, biohazard disposal, trash collection, and equipment inspections.
WORK SCHEDULE
Five (8) hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday from 11:00AM-7:30PM.
On-Call on a rotating basis with on-call pay.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three plus years of general maintenance experience in a medical facility preferred.
- Competent in building systems used by the organization or willing to obtain the necessary training.
- Valid driver’s license required or able to obtain upon hire.
- Friends and Family CPR; can be obtained upon hire.
