PIPESTONE is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Feed Mill Driver/Operator to join our team in Burlington, CO!
OBJECTIVE: Manufacture and deliver quality feed that meets the expectations of our shareholders and producers.
What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)
- Perform pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure safety
- Safely operate a tandem axle feed truck or semi with trailer
- Comply with DOT standards for electronic logbooks
- Maintain accurate logs for billing
Additional Duties (Marginal Functions)
- Grind and manufacture complete feed
- Assist with loading/unloading feed and ingredient trucks
- Refill the micro table
- Operate a forklift to move pallets in/around the warehouse
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma required
- 2-year degree preferred
Experience
- 2+ years in agriculture or heavy equipment transportation a plus (not required)
Work Environment
- Semi-tractor trailer operation in all seasons
- Feed Mill environment
- Hearing protection required in some areas
- Exposure to adverse weather conditions
Physical Requirements
- Standing/walking for 8–10 hours
- Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling
- Frequent lifting (3–20 lbs)
- Occasional lifting/moving up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Effective verbal & written communication
- Ability to participate in meetings as needed
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- CDL preferred but not required
