Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated person to manage staff and all of our projects-from service calls to complete home automation experiences.  We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager with audiovisual, audio video, security, home automation, electronics, low voltage or electrical contracting experience.

Job Requirements:
• Manage small and medium sized low voltage projects
• Acquire a thorough understanding of project requirements and objectives including contractual, financial, technical, schedule, construction coordination, materials, personnel, and scope of work.
• Function as the focal point and work effectively for internal and external project communication with general contractors, owners, technicians, office staff, employees and subcontractors.
• Manage and coordinate projects to meet profitability, quality, safety and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Perform site visits and monitors progress of project
• Supervise, coach and mentor staff to maximize productivity and develop talent pool
• Manage small and medium sized low voltage projects
• Be able to work in construction type environments and access projects where uneven and cluttered conditions may exist.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Build and develop business relationships with vendors, general contractors and customers

Job responsibilities include:

     • Allocating customer, technical and subcontractor resources

     • Responsible for ordering job materials, renting equipment and jobsite logistics

     • Assist sales people with estimating

     • Advise technicians on best practices in installation and troubleshooting

     • Assist installation team with general labor as needed

     • Maintain adequate inventory levels (warehouse and vehicles)

     • Enforce company policies

     • Train technicians and develop skills among employees

Qualifications:
• Experience as a Project Manager for AV projects or in a lead position, managing a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills & solid computer stills. 
• Strong organizational skills required to manage multiple projects meeting all key milestones
• Experience in building and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Experience in supervising and leading the work of others.

Requirements/Attributes:

-Knowledge in the audio/video/home automation/computer networking field!

-Installation experience!

-Familiar with construction environments a plus!

-Knowledge of CRESTRON systems is a plus!

-Computer & IT background helpful!

-Prompt and Reliable!

-Organized

-Customer Oriented!

-Enjoys "trouble shooting"

-Willingness to learn!

-People Person!

-Cell Phone

-Valid driver's license & Acceptable Driving Record

And last but certainly not least-You need to be 100% adaptable to change.  We work in an environment where everyone wears many "hats", and in the electronics business, the only thing that is constant is CHANGE!
