The Field Operations Specialist supports the daily operations as the single point of contact for our Location Managers in each state. The Field Operations Specialist is tasked with day-to-day support, continued education, onboarding/offboarding and change management to ensure our commitment to making buying silencers simple. Under the guidance of the Manager of Compliance, this role implements and executes the process and framework supporting ATF and state regulatory compliance standards set by the various governing agencies.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Work alongside Field Operations Lead (FOL) to serve as the main point of contact for designated primary and secondary Federal Firearms License (FFL) staff members. Lead and train these individuals on both new and existing processes.
- Serve as the primary backup to the Field Operations Lead (FOL), providing seamless coverage of all FOL responsibilities and duties during absences.
- Create and refine communication and training materials for the onboarding, ongoing education, and professional development of FFL staff, aiming to improve processes across all company locations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for both headquarters (HQ) employees and FFL staff, providing guidance on scenarios for non-over-the-counter transfers.
- Manage electronic systems that support the Acquisition & Disposition Book (A&D Book) and handle electronic forms required by the ATF and state regulations related to firearm transfers.
- Facilitate communication between the FFL network and the rest of the business to quickly and effectively mitigate issues and drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to:
- Reinforce regulatory compliance, including expectations, inspections, and training.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and field communications.
- Enhance customer experience while maintaining compliance.
- Ensure that all firearms compliance processes at FFL locations comply with federal, state, and local laws.
- Work alongside Compliance to keep records at FFL locations current and accessible for routine audits.
- Verify that all FFL staff adhere to company SOPs and assist in coordinating productivity targets.
- Be available to periodically respond to calls, texts, or emails from FFL staff during nights and weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Must be legally able to purchase & possess firearms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Compensation and Benefits:
