Finance & Accounting Manager
Location & Work Model: On-site – Watertown, SD
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience, with bonus opportunity

The Role
The Finance & Accounting Manager leads the company’s accounting and financial operations while serving as a key member of the leadership team. This role oversees day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while helping guide strategic business decisions. The position offers a combination of hands-on financial leadership and high-level collaboration with company leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and cash management
- Prepare monthly financial statements and provide reporting to leadership
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Coordinate annual audits and year-end financial processes
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions
- Supervise and support a team of approximately 5 employees
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting principles
- Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors
- Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance
