Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst I will support the financial and operational performance of the company’s diverse portfolio, which may include multifamily, commercial, hospitality, and other investment assets. This position involves analyzing business performance, conducting market and industry research, developing financial models, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights to support both strategic and tactical decision-making. The role provides exposure to multiple aspects of finance, asset management, and investment analysis, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support stakeholders in understanding drivers of project and asset costs.

  • Perform financial analysis, data collection, and cost modeling to support decision-making.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for company projects and assets.

  • Help prepare periodic financial reports, presentations, and analytical insights for management and investors.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with property management teams to support operational efficiency, leasing strategies, and tenant satisfaction.

  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing efforts through financial modeling and due diligence.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry regulations, market conditions, and company policies.

  • Coordinate ongoing collection of financial data across departments and key stakeholders.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct supervisory responsibilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with real estate software such as Yardi is a plus.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Professional, ethical, and able to handle confidential information.

  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work well with diverse groups or individuals.

  • Regular and consistent attendance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
