Rapid City, Box Elder and/or EAFB | Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Sentinel Federal Credit Union is hiring a motivated and member-focused Financial Services Officer to help members navigate important financial decisions through consumer lending, account services, and personalized financial solutions. This role combines relationship-building, lending expertise, and exceptional member service to create positive experiences and long-term member relationships.

Pay Range

Wage depends on direct experience and proven performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist members with consumer loan applications, account services, and financial solutions that support their goals

  • Conduct member interviews, process loan applications, and guide members through the lending process

  • Open new accounts and assist with account maintenance and service requests

  • Develop and maintain strong member relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication

  • Identify opportunities to recommend Credit Union products and services that meet member needs

  • Generate loan volume through referrals, member outreach, and business development activities

  • Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

  • Partner with branch and lending staff to provide a seamless and positive member experience

  • Resolve member questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner

  • Support organizational initiatives, special projects, and cross-training opportunities as assigned

Who You Are

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution required

  • Previous consumer lending experience preferred

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and member service skills

  • Comfortable discussing financial products, lending options, and member needs

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately

  • Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with teammates
