This position will be responsible for completing projects such as installation, repair/maintenance work and finish carpentry. Additional duties may include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client’s needs.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
- Ability to conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures.
- Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
- Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
- Ability to comply with local building codes along with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
