Location: Chamberlain
Minimum Salary: $14.61 per hour (S03)
Position purpose: Assist fisheries managers and biologists with management and research activities on Missouri River reservoirs.

Primary duties: Assist fisheries managers and biologists with management and research activities on Missouri River reservoirs. Assist in fish spawning and stocking operations, fish population sampling using gill nets, trap nets, seines and electrofishing, and angler use and harvest surveys. Assist with data entry and equipment maintenance.

Essential requirements: Valid driver's license. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, work nights and weekends, and communicate effectively with the public.

Beneficial abilities: Operation and maintenance of boats, motors, and trailers, basic vehicle and equipment maintenance, knowledge of fisheries management principles and techniques, fish identification and basic computer operation.
