Food Manufacturing Wholesale Sales Account Manager
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food Wholesale Manager to join our team in Long Beach, CA. As a Food Wholesale Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our wholesale food operations, including inventory management, supplier relationships, pricing strategies, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability in the wholesale food division
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize waste
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing suppliers while also seeking out new supplier partnerships
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies that are competitive yet profitable
- Oversee a team of warehouse and logistics staff to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track progress toward goals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in food wholesale management
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales and growth strategies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and inventory management software
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
