Front Counter/Inside Sales

Job Description

A&B Welding Supply is seeking a front counter salesperson in Rapid City, SD. We are looking for a motivated individual that is willing to learn about welding.

Job Expectations

• Deliver excellent customer service for walk in sales primarily in the welding industry
• Assist in new customer account set up
• Handle compressed gas cylinders according to A&B safety standard
• Make deliveries on occasion as needed

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to complete appropriate training
• Ability to routinely lift 25-75 pounds
• Ability to perform work during prolonged standing
• Pre-employment and random drug screening required

Previous Experience Desired

• Ideal candidate will have welding experience
• Good driving record required, Class B CDL would be ideal or willing to obtain one for hot shot deliveries
• Willing to perform other duties as needed
• Computer experience with windows program
• Full time position with benefits. Wage depending upon experience
