Visions Eye Care is a premier eye care facility dedicated to providing excellent vision care and outstanding customer service to our patients. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Optometric Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrist with patient care procedures, including pre-testing, visual acuity testing, and dry eye treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as retinal imaging and visual field testing.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as maintaining patient records and prior authorizations for medications.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an optometry or ophthalmology setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
