Full Time Summer Elementary Teacher

Job Description

Kid's Crossing is hiring a full-time Elementary teacher, working 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday. You will be following the elementary schedule and plan activities for the children. You will also be taking the children on Field Trips throughout the summer.

• Hours 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
• Pay starting at $16.00 an hour

Responsibilities of Lead Teacher

• Provide quality care to children
• Assist with classroom curriculum
• Supervise and participate in children's daily activities
• Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
• Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with part time staff
• Assist in regular communication with parents and staff
• Drive daycare van daily for field trips

Skills/Knowledge

• Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
• Have a basic understanding of elementary children's growth and development

Applicant Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
• Have no felony convictions
• Willing to complete state required background checks
• Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
