Job Description
The Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced professional to serve in the full-time role of Graphic Design & Multi-Media Specialist. This person assists in all aspects of communicating the Bishop’s vision for Lifelong Catholic Missionary Discipleship through God’s Love. Responsibilities include planning and creating graphic elements including logos, ads, website graphics, etc.; planning, creating and project coordination for video, audio, images and visuals; website creation and maintenance. Additional responsibilities include multi-media project coordination as well as production and distribution to multiple platforms as well as coordination and management of all design and layout projects. This postion works out of the Catholic Pastoral Center in Sioux Falls and is not a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, layout and produce print and digital products
- Develop and produce video and audio productions including editing and final production
- Develop, coordinate and implement website design and postings
- Assist with audio and video production of the Sunday TV Mass
- Collaborate on the coordination and production of collateral materials for special campaigns and events
- Distribute and post multimedia projects via social media, website and other platforms
- Coordinate outsourced design services including photography, videography and print production
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated mastery with all Adobe Creative Suite products, WordPress and other various desktop and web applications
- Knowledge of the printing process (digital and offset)
- Established proficiency in videography and photography including shooting and editing
- Proficiency in HTML and PHP and knowledge of CSS stylesheets needed
Education:
- Minimum of a two year post secondary degree in marketing, communications or a related field, bachelor degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in this or a related field
