Job Highlights

The role of the Graphics Supervisor is to provide front-line leadership for the graphics department and deliver motivating and developing front-line Team Members to achieve world class manufacturing results. This is done through enhancing teamwork, effective communications, actively listening to Team Members, and driving change. Additionally, the Supervisor must focus on safety, process efficiency, continuous improvement, quality assurance, waste monitoring, and meeting customer expectations.

Job Summary & Requirements

Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Control load factors and workflow to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools and equipment.
    • Provide business and technical leadership necessary to ensure the facility meets and/or exceeds goals in critical manufacturing success areas of safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
    • Coordinate graphic operations and requirements for finished products and needs for materials and labor.
    • Set safety and housekeeping expectations and enforce safety regulations and housekeeping practices
  • Perform as a front-line leader in a state-of-the-art, complex manufacturing facility.
    • Motivate, train, coach, support, inspire and direct a diverse work group.
    • Uphold CCL's values of integrity, respect, accountability and excellence.
    • Maintain consistent standards of performance.
    • Conduct regular Team Member meetings which include effective communication of safety requirements, organizational and policy changes.
    • Facilitate effective sharing of information across work teams, business areas and functional areas.
    • Provide effective, timely and fair performance and discipline feedback to Team Members and document as needed.
  • Optimize equipment and processes as an advocate of continuous improvement solutions designed to meet and exceed manufacturing standards and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain positive Team Member relations through effective communication with all Team Members to foster an environment where innovation and cooperation are used for effective conflict management and issue resolution.
    • First point of contact for all hourly Team Member concerns.
  • Must be able to track daily, weekly and monthly results (budgetary and otherwise) to ensure appropriate and immediate actions are taken to achieve CCL's business goals and objectives.
  • All other duties as assigned.
