Job Description
Candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment autobody shop who enjoys working with their hands in a fast pace enviornment will enjoy this role!
Responsibilities:
- Operate Hand Tools: Grinder, sander, polisher, and clean edges and parts on precision welded parts.
- Material Handling: Organize, stage, and move materials as required using overhead cranes and/or other material handling equipment (forklift).
- Assembly: Assemble the products per specification and meet all quality requirements.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints and instructions for shipment preparation.
Location: Tea, SD (right off I-29)
Work Hours: 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday (40hrs + 5hrs overtime per week)
Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hand Tool Experience: Grinding, Sanding, Polishing
- Forklift certification or ability to acquire the certification.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired.
Required Licensing/Registration/Certification:
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with ability to focus on a given task.
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills and technology.
- Effective time-management tactical approach to work prioritization.
- Commitment to continued development through the DeGeest Strong Standard Program.
- Read, speak, and write the English language.
- Good communication skills.

Hiring Salary Range: $20.00-$25.00/hour

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
