What You’ll Do
You’ll lead daily store operations with a hands-on approach, focusing on great customer service, strong team leadership, and maintaining high store standards. Responsibilities include:
- Creating a friendly, positive store culture and developing a motivated, cross-trained team.
- Overseeing store conditions—cleanliness, stocking, product presentation, freshness, and quality (including learning basic meat department support).
- Managing scheduling, ordering, inventory control, and vendor relationships.
- Delivering excellent customer experiences and tailoring products and promotions to local shopper needs, including managing store social media.
- Maintaining profitability, addressing issues quickly, and ensuring safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies and laws.
Schedule & Work Style
- This is an active, hands-on leadership role.
- 50–55 hours per week
- Saturdays required; one full weekend off each month
- Occasional after-hours calls for emergencies (equipment, staffing, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
- Retail or grocery management experience
- Strong, hands-on leadership with a focus on developing and supporting your team
Physical Requirements
Able to stand for long periods and bend, lift up to 40 lbs, and assist across departments as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Starting at $75,000+ depending on experience and store performance.
