Valet / Front Desk Agent Job Description
Job Summary
Provide a welcoming first impression and seamless guest experience by combining valet parking services with front desk responsibilities: greet guests, safely park and retrieve vehicles, manage keys and claim tickets, and handle check-in/check-out, reservations, payments, and guest inquiries.
The hours are 3pm - 11pm and do include every Friday and Saturday night.
Key Responsibilities
Valet Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously at arrival.
- Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and document condition.
- Safely drive, park, and retrieve vehicles
- Issue and manage claim tickets and keys, maintain secure key storage and accurate vehicle location records.
- Direct traffic, ensuring smooth vehicle flow, and maintain a clean, organized valet zone and surrounding parking areas.
Front Desk Duties
- Welcome guests, perform check-in and check-out, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
- Manage reservations via phone, email, and property management systems; update guest records.
- Process payments and handle billing, including incidental charges and tips.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly; coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance.
- Provide local information and concierge assistance such as directions, transportation options, and recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions when parking cars.
- Prior experience in hospitality, valet, or customer-facing roles.

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage plus tips; $16 - $19 depending on experience.
